The Fox Valley Real Estate Group is open to anyone who has an interest in real estate. Come to our meetings and discuss properties on the market, contracts, mortgages, and anything else about land and realty. You could be a new investor looking to get your first deal or you could have done 50 deals and want to network with others. Our goal for this group is to bring people together who really enjoy real estate, promote education, the ups and downs that come along with this profession and for others to share what is working for them and to network. If you are a part time investor or a full time investor it does not matter!

January brings a local speaker who has been very active in the local market in the last 5 years with tons of information to teach! Nate Andree will be discussing Wholesaling, Rehabbing and his mentor ship program in our local market! Experience in private money, joint venturing and land lording if you have any questions on those topics! Be sure to be there! January 18th ( Yes, it is a Wednesday meeting this month) at 6:30 at Grand Meridian
February adds to our toolbox with Epiphany Law and Val Revnew talking about entity formations and protecting your assets that you purchased with Nate's guidance! LLCs, LLPs, S-corps and more. Bring your legal real estate questions! February 15 (Yes, another Wednesday) at 6:30 at Grand Meridian.
March will help us with financing our new projects with GSF Mortgage and Mike Cox discussing current financing options and market changes. Come and take advantage of the insight that an investor/ mortgage broker can provide. March 15th ( Thursday night ) 6:30pm at Grand Meridian.
April brings an interesting take on private money with infinite banking. Brian Flemming and Rebecca Rice will be up from Milwaukee to discuss how with a little foresight investors can capitalize their own private bank to do deals and retirement with ease! Based on the teaching of R.Nelson Nash and book "Becoming Your Own Banker". April 19th (Thursday Night) at 6:30pm at Grand Meridian.

Sean Walsh will be guest speaking and he will be discussing something that you may have or may not have thought about as we continue in our real estate careers. Sean runs his own company called Illusions and Realities Publishing LLC. He just released a new book entitled "Financial Illusions and the Realities of Money" He will share his comments and opinions on many different topics as is relates to finances, wealth, the reality of going to college, the "system" that we are taught as kids and SO much more. This meeting will make you think about yourself, your business, your life, and where you are heading in today's financial world. 6. For this month's meeting we would like to welcome local investor Chad Shea to talk about investing in notes and mortgages. Similar to traditional real estate investing, the paper side of the business has many different niches. Chad will touch on the differences between investing in performing vs. nonperforming notes, seller carry-back vs. bank originated notes, and senior position vs junior position notes. He will also talk about how to evaluate a note for purchase, and the different exit strategies once you own the note. This should be a excellent meeting so do not miss it!
